1. What is included in the package?

This is a full ground package covering:

Ground Services

• Private transportation with driver

• Parking & toll fees

• Ferry ticket (Samosir ↔ Parapat)

• Entrance fees for all attractions

• Professional local tour guide

• Hotels/Homestays:

  • Enasti Hotel (Berastagi)

Activities & Permits

2. What is the difference between Open Trip and Private Trip?

Open Trip

• Join a scheduled group with fixed dates

• Ideal for solo travelers or small groups

• Limited to 13 pax per trip

Private Trip

• Choose your own date

• Ideal for friends/family/corporate

• Price depends on group size (minimum 4 pax)

3. Can I choose my own date?

Yes!

• Private Trip: Choose ANY date you want.

• Open Trip: Follow the available departure dates listed for 2026.

4. What accommodation is provided?

• Hotel stays in Berastagi & Samosir (twin/triple sharing)

• Camping at Bukit Senyum overlooking Lake Toba

• All camping gear is included

5. Are meals included?

No. Meals are not included in this package (same as package description).
You will purchase meals at:

• Local restaurants

• Warungs

• Campsite food stalls

6. Is personal porter included?

Not applicable — this trip is mainly land touring + Mt Sibayak day hike.
However, Mt. Sibayak guide is included.

7. How is transportation arranged?

All ground transport is included:

• Pick-up at Kualanamu Airport (KNO)

• Intercity transfers: Medan → Berastagi → Samosir → Danau Toba

• Drop-off at KNO Airport

• Ferry Samosir–Parapat

8. Can foreigners (WNA) join the trip?

Yes! Foreigners are welcome.
Please bring:

• Passport

• Valid visa (if required)

9. What should I pack?

Recommended personal items:

• Clothing for cool weather (Berastagi & Samosir are cold at night)

• Comfortable walking shoes

• Headlamp (not provided)

• Toiletries

• Personal medication

• Powerbank

• Snacks

10. Is this trip beginner-friendly?

Yes!
All activities are non-technical.
Mount Sibayak hike is beginner-friendly (1.5–2.5 hours).

11. What personal expenses are not included?

12. How do I book and get pricing?

Open Trip Booking

1. Check the available dates

2. Select number of pax

3. Pay deposit RM150/pax (non-refundable) or full payment

4. Fill in participant details

5. Choose your date under “Chosen Date”

6. Select payment method

7. Wait to be added to the WhatsApp group

8. Done!

Private Trip Booking

1. Select Private Trip option

2. Choose number of pax (min. 4 pax)

3. Pay deposit RM150/pax or full payment

4. Pick your preferred date

5. Submit participant details

6. Await WhatsApp group invitation

7. Done!

13. Flight Requirement (Important!)

To match the itinerary:

• Day 1 arrival: BEFORE 10:00 AM

• Day 4 departure: AFTER 8:00 PM

14. Can I add flight tickets to my package?

Yes! Two-way flight KUL ↔ KNO can be added on request.
